I need to decide what my limits are

Sometimes, when I go out to the clubs, I expect to just have an okay time. And then – BOOM! – After three beers, I find myself on the dancefloor, gently squeezing a sweet girl, and having fun. This is how it should be!

This is a candid blog, so I’ll be honest. There’s something really reassuring when I hold an attractive girl close to me on the dancefloor, and squeeze her butt, as the music plays. It’s almost like being totally lost to the senses…the liquor’s got you feeling loose (just like Jamie Foxx said…), the music is loud enough that it’s having a drug-like effect on you, the dancefloor is vibrating to the bass, and you have a sexy gal in your arms who’s in the mood justs as much as you are. Talk about a guy being fulfilled.

Do we have to have liquor and music going to socialize on THAT level? I think so. Cause one thing I’ve realized as I grow up is that, adults like to drink…especially to loosen up in conversation, ease social tension, or get sexually loose and get promiscuous without having to ‘force it’.

AND, the harder somebody works, the more they drink.

The longer somebody has worked hard on a daily basis, whoa…this person WILL drink a lot.

If someone is uptight, and they know they’re uptight – and they want to loosen up for any of the aforementioned reasons, you can be sure they’ll be the ones pushing for the drinks. And they’ll need everyone else to drink along too the more the merrier…

I do have a girlfriend, so…I’ll just have to do most of my action on the dancefloor. I definitely think going out to club also has a much better chance of getting anybody some action, rather than making a post on craigslist. In the club, you also get to meet the person first…just a thought.

A lot can happen on the dancefloor, and it’s saturday. Let’s go.

On the right, in the blue box, I’ve uploaded the instrumental to the song, ‘Hero’ by Nas, featuring Keri Hilson. This original song was on his album ‘Untitled’. This is one of my favorite hip-hop beats in recent times. This was produced by a very talented Atlanta-based producer, Polow da Don.

Now Polow has produced many other big hits, including ‘Glamorous’ by Fergie, as well as ‘London Brigde’ by Fergie. Both of these songs were on album, ‘The Duchess’

He also produced the club banger ‘Love in this Club’ by Usher, ‘Throw some D’s” by RichBoy. I’m going to talk more about him, because he’s definitely a producer with that special touch. I think he really knows how to make a unique beat and a song.

I remember reading somewhere…that even though some people would not describe themselves as introverts or extroverts, the true test would be to find out if being around many people ‘sapped’ their energy or gave them energy (to put it bluntly, for clear understanding). I think this is quite true, and I’d say I agree with this definition. Especially since there’s generally a ‘good’ vibe to saying you’re an extrovert (a lot of people read this as ‘likes people’), as opposed to the ‘bad’ vibe when you say to your dearest friends and family that you’re an introvert, which they might read as: “Oh no! He doesn’t like us. You were right Jeffrey…”. I see these differences mainly in terms of where we get our energy (and usually ideas) from. And it’s probably best not to see it in terms of good and bad. We need the Ying and the Yang to keep the world balanced between left and right and up and down.

Notice how there are those who just can’t be on their own for too long? They need to go out and mingle or do something which involves being with people or being around people. On the other hand there are introverts who can spend a lot of time on their own, but still do need company.

Right now, I’m thinking, do introverts prefer to be in relationships with other introverts? And do extroverts prefer to be in relationships with other extroverts? I really do want your opinion, so If you happen to read this post, do give your answer to these questions in the poll?

On the topic of relationships, why is is that both men and women want somebody who they feel is a bit of a challenge? Like…not a yes-boy or a yes-girl? This is one thing I’ve thought about, doubted, but then found to really be true. And this is probably true regardless of if this person is of ‘very high value’ … as in, very pretty, very handsome, great body, wealthy, talented…

It almost seems like the only demonstration of ‘value’ or high esteem to people is being hard to get or being an asshole sometimes or playing games that men and women play. I welcome your opinion on this too…please comment and tell me what you think about both of these ‘issues’ I have brought up about relationships. The poll is at the bottom of this post, folks!

Have a good day, of course.

- Peter G.

So, occasionally I check my stats(not like I’m trying to get famous or anything), and I notice that people continuously go to the post I did about Craigslist Casual Encounters ( Link here! ). So…today, after sipping a couple of beers (Naragansett, to be precise), I suddenly feel I know what the follow up to that post is. Actually, it’s in the form of ‘tips’. So…if your game with the opposite sex is solid…you can read news at CNN.com (Link here! )

On the other hand, if you find yourself alone in bed more times than you want, then read on…

So, people get to THAT post I wrote about Craigslist casual encounters by searching for different phrases that seem to suggest ‘does it work? if i go to craigslist casual encounters, will i get laid?’. Now, mind you, I’m going to generalize a lot. For example, I’ll say ‘women do this…’ if 6 out of 8 women do something.

People are going online to Craigslist casual encounters probably because in the ‘real world’ they feel they don’t have any options. They think they’ve run out of potential lovers in their daily encounters. But think about it…EVERYBODY meets new potential lovers everyday. Every single day you step outside your door, you are out there…and others are out there too! So let’s talk about specific strategies for men and women…
Recognizing the fact that generally, women wait to be approached by guys…and guys on the other hand, go out and approach women, and eventually try to proceed from there. Ladies..(since it’s ladies first)…assuming you’ve put up your post on casual encounters. e.g. Sexy 25 year old looking for a great guy tonite. I’d say IF you’re going to take a chance of letting some random male who sends a picture of his *BIG cock* straight to your email inbox, you should probably let the guys in the real world have a chance too – it’s probably better to settle for guys you at least know a little about and might even dissaprove of a little, rathern than take a chance with a stranger…or not even get any responses to your post. Think about it.

So this is my suggestion…you know that you’ll be going on Craigslist to talk about how you want a nice guy to come over and fuck your brains out. Well, rather than hope for Mr.Craigslist to contact you, why don’t you CALL one of the guys who’s been interested for a while? Even if it’s a guy who you think might be mainly interested in sex. Well, when you’re thinking about going on craigslist to look for strangers(yes, men you meet on craigslit are strangers)…who really cares? It’s the lesser of two evils. Most of you ladies have about two or three men who you know, who are interested in having sex with you. You might even have their numbers. Well, my advice is CALL them. Set up a meeting…because you have a higher chance of getting things to happen.

One point here is that of course you might not want to have sex with someone you know well or just met once. What i’d suggest is that…let the guy make the first move(because most guys will), and you can talk to him about how this is just casual…so he does not start imagining a bright future with you, him, and two kids. Most, if not all guys will agree to this.

For GUYS, what you should do…so you never have to go to Craigslist casual encounters to post your availability:

DEVELOP CONFIDENCE.

Simply. I’ll tell you this, EVERY SINGLE GOOD THING COMES FROM CONFIDENCE. If you think you can chat up that hot lady at the bad – it’s a matter of confidence. If you think you’ll get the job at that great company that seems to have all genius employees – it’s a matter of confidence. If you think you can get a cute lady’s phone number at the grocery store – it’s a matter of confidence. Women can smell true confidence. Seriously. I know many friends who act confident when approaching women, but still seem not to get any women. Men WANT to get women. Seriously…It’s a no-brainer (no pun intended), but men REALLY like women – their bodies, their smell, their voice, the little things they do, the fact that they don’t know all the suggestions cause you to have – men like women. And that’s why YOU need to get your confidence UP up up!!!

KNOW you can do anything. KNOW you can get any woman – and you can get most women in the world if you’re really confident – those you won’t get are those you just won’t get since no man can have all the women in the world.

One major part/factor of confidence is self-doubt or questioning. Honestly, to get the most women you can put that shit aside. Don’t question your abilities. Don’t think about what the pros and cons of going ahead to approach a lady is. ALWAYS remember that thinking about what could happen is just that – thinking about what COULD happen. But it’s usually not what ACTUALLY happens. So, forget your mind, and act on your impulse, before you start to doubt yourself. So if you’re at a grocery store/bar/street, when you see a cute lady – just go up to her and talk to her. Don’t even hesitate. Don’t even think about what to say. ‘Whats up?’ is really enough…pickup lines are for script kiddies. Forget it if some lady is not interested. HER LOSS. That’s what a genuinely confident man would think. MOVE ON. Yupp, that’s what you do. You’ll probably never see her again, so who cares if she didn’t like your style. You know you’re the shit, and there are greater women to meet in the next five minutes( and I’m not kidding). You might be relatively confident, but if you find yourself a little scared about going to approach a women, then you have SOME confidence to gain. Be a man about it, and learn new ways to build your confidence…you can probably search for that on Google.

It’s worth building your confidence, because it is all about confidence.

For guys, in summary : Develop your confidence so that eventually you’re approaching women whenever you feel like it, and getting positive results…as well as a beautiful woman beside you in the morning when you wake up.

I just finished watching the Joe Biden vs. Sarah Palin vice presidential debate, and I have to say, I was not too impressed with Sarah Palin. Actually I wasn’t impressed at all. It seemed that Joe Biden had solid points to make. He had an abundance of KNOWLEGE about policies, as well as knowlege of John McCain’s voting history. He was able to make specific points using and had numbers and percentages on his fingertips which he could use to bolster those points.

On the other hand, it seems Sarah Palin, as pretty as she looked tonight, STILL didn’t have too many solid points. She made some (against Obama), so let me not act like she was incoherent or anything. BUT, she still relied on a lot of tactics like emotions and trying to ‘connect’ back to the people by describing the same kind of scenarios that Hillary Clinton is so good at. At some point, Sarah Palin actually said “…the hockey moms and Joe six-pack”. Come on! Joe six-pack??? Who the hell is that? She also had the same kind of attitude she had during some backstage Katie Couric interview…you know, very sarcastic. I do not like her sarcasm.

During the debate, the MAIN topic was John McCain. Seriously. Within the first three minutes of the debate, it was funny to hear Joe Biden make a say John McCain was out of touch. Damn, it seems anybody who has a mouth keeps saying McCain is out of touch, it even seems funny. I think it’s just taking a shot at how old he is. He really isn’t THAT old. He’s 72. There are several senators who are older than him…so let’s give him credit for that. During the debate, Biden seemed to have a very comprehensive knowlege of foreign policy, and an even better knowlege of McCain’s voting history, so it seemed that regardless of the questions that the lady presiding over the debate(I wish I knew her name)…the name ‘John McCain’ kept coming up. If it was Biden saying that name, then it was about his voting history in the senate, and how he had sided with President Bush on most issues, and if it was Palin saying the name, it was about how great his values were, and how great a leader he is and will be.

If you ask me, I’d say Biden clearly won the debate, as it seems Palin didn’t have much knowlege to tear down his points, or make strong points against him and Obama.

In other news, I was on the phone with one of my friends today…a good friend of mine who’s currently studying for his PhD in physics at a very respectable university. He told me he’s now addicted to the strip club. He told me about a certain stripper he’s convinced he’s in love with. He said that it seems that as you put down a vice, you pick up another. In his case, he stopped smoking pot and now goes to the strip club. I admired the fact that he just quit smoking pot totally…I’m still working on that. He said that the stripper he likes(actually, he said he loves her) gives crazy lap dances, and that in the room where she gives lap dances(i think it’s somehting like $50 or $60 for 5 minutes), he said it’s almost like sex with her. 5 minutes of fantasy. I don’t criticize it in any way, because I’d definitely say just because you like a stripper doesn’t mean you don’t respect her. And…the world is full of men who really just would like to cut out the prelimiary games and wooing, and get some action. That doesn’t mean the men just want women for sex either. It just means that they don’t have all the patience to go through the wooing. Funny enough I’ve never been to a strip club, but when I go visit him…I’ll definitely bring my stash of one dollar bills along. You know…

I told him to go ahead and make some conversation with her, and get to know her as a person – but by no means should he prevent her from fulfiling her proffesional duties though. Cause, regardless of whether she might see my friend is a customer who likes lap dances from her, everybody is looking for somebody who really likes them for who they are. Flaws included.

What do you think of strip clubs and the guys who go there?
